Passport expiring when entering into China

My kids and I will be traveling to China and their passports will expire in 4 months but Visa is good for 5 more years. Visa and passport both applied for in USA. Will my kids (under 16) be able to enter China? I (mother) have a valid passport and visa. Thanks

Yes, as long as the passport is valid for more than 3 months, it would be ok.
