About:China Work Visa

hi , i have two different information for Z visa.

I have only one blank page in passport which is ok as per Z visa requirment show in internet . I have all supporting documents with this passport number . Yesterday I call Chinese consulate office in New Delhi , as per them I should have 4 blank pages . so I can not get Z visa as per them .
If I take new passport , is it all documents which indicate my current passport number like PCC / Foreigners Work Permit - issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the PRC / Medical certificate are valid or not ?
can I take new passport first and submit my new passport and current passport ( which have cancel logo as I take new passport ) and all supporting document to get Z visa ? can I do this way

If you take a new passports, all documents showing your current passport number still work as long as you submit both passports bearing the same personal particulars.
