About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

LAX - Shanghai(PVG) -Korea and then return to Shangahi(PVG)-LAX

Do we qualify for the 144 hours no visa in Shanghai?

Flying from LAX-Shanghai(PVG) stay for 4 days in Shanghai and fly to Korea
Fly back from Korea- Shanghai(PVG) stay for 3 days- LAX

Yes, you qualify for the 144 hours visa-free transit for both times you are in Shanghai.
