About:China Tourist Visa

I am a US citizen. Do I need a Chinese Visa to tour the country while there for a 1 day layover?

I am a US citizen. I will be visiting China with a group of friends for a long layover and will be staying in a hotel. We want to tour the country. Can we obtain the visa when we arrive in China at the airport?

How much will this Visa cost us?

If you routes qualify, you may make use of the visa-free transit policy of China. By the way, it's hard to get visa on arrival in most Chinese ports.
