Changing my visa from an X2 to a Q1 after marrying a Chinese citizen

Is this possible? I've been living in China for over two years now, once on a work visa, two separate times on student visas. I'm marrying my Chinese partner whom I've been with this entire time. Can I change my X2 to a Q1 without leaving China?

Yes, you can do this at the local exit and entry administration.
