About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would like to take train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen China

I am a US citizen traveling to Hong Kong. I would like to take a day trip by train to Shenzhen. Do I need a visa? Or does that type of trip qualify for TWOV?

You need a visa. Shenzhen visa on arrival is possible, but it’s much better for USA citizens to get the 10 year visa.
