Transit visa Indian passport holder

Hello
I am booking a flight from Mumbai India to Canada from air China via Beijing
It’s showing that I would require a tourist visa to be able to transit via Beijing
Kindly advice

If the route is Mumbai - China - Canada, and the total layover in China is not more than 24 hours, you don't need a visa.
