About:China Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival

Hi I'm an Australian citizen and i'm flying to Sanya via HongKong (just transfer). Is it safe for me to just get visa on arrival? Will I be allowed to board?

Yes, if you are taking a flight via Hong Kong you are safe to rely on a Hainan VOA. In reality, Hong Kong is nowadays the only safe airport for those who intend to rely on a Hainan VOA.

The good detail regarding Hainan VOA is the fact that you are allowed to travel also to the other parts of mainland China with this visa for up to 15 days period after you have obtained it at Hainan.
