Renewal of the Z visa

Hello, I am currently in mainland China and my visa finishes on the 19th of January.
My company didn't renew it in time, but i want to know if its possible to renew the visa still. They are saying i need at least 30 days to renew the work permit, residency and visa.

What are your thoughts?
