About:China Train Ticket Booking FAQ

china railway ticket notice

Hi i have china railway ticket notice from Shanghai to Hangzhou East and connecting train from HZ east to Yixing. Will I be able to board with just ticket notice and passport or do i need to still go to window counter to exchange for actual blue/red ticket?

Train stations in Shanghai and Hangzhou East Station all use e ticket now. You do not need paper tickets. You can present/scan your passport at station and checkin gate.
