Traveling from Bombay to New York at Beijing Capital Airport

We are traveling from Bombay by air China and have 1 hour 15min and have a connecting flight to New York by the same airline If the flight from Bombay is delayed and are not able to catch the connecting flight will the airlines make alternate arrangement for us ? We are senior citizens
