How to Modify Visa Application?

I completed online application yesterday and made appointment for Jan 8 to submit at CVASC Vancouver now I notice I made a couple of mistakes and would like to correct them. I found information on Toronto website that I could "start a new form with personal information based on previously completed applications" retrieve the form, modify and reprint it. Can someone confirm it's okay to do this as I don't want to do anything else wrong.

Correct - you can create a new application based on the data in the old form (just did it myself).

BUT - you will need to cancel the appointment made based on the old application before scheduling a new appointment.

Thank you, David. I assume once I modify the application, the system then generates a new file number?
