transit visa needed in hk? (ghanaian passport)

Hello,I will be travelling to the philippines next month with my Family,We will travel from shanghai through Hong Kong then to Manila,My wife and daughter hold the Russian passport and I hold the Ghanaian passport,I wanna ask if i need a transit visa in Hong Kong? If Yes can i apply online ?because i saw that they only have a consulate in Beijing

Yes, you will need a visa. You can't apply online, but you can apply for it from the consulate in Beijing or Shanghai or post your documents to the HK Immigration Department for processing a visa. The processing times is around one month.
