About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Hi

Hi

I am visiting Hong Kong as a British National but leaving to go to Kuala Lumpa for a few days for the New Year.

Than I am coming back to Hong Kong.

Am I allowed to enter and exit the country as many times on the 190 period for British Nationals.

Let me know,

Thanks

British nationality is not the equivalent of British citizenship (thanks to Maggie Thatcher and her CONs). There are six types of British nationality and among them only British citizens can enter and stay for 180 days per stay, while the other four are limited to 90 days and the remaining one can stay indefinitely. Generally HK immigration will give you a fresh duration of whatever is allowed based on the type of British nationality for EVERY entry, and the previous period will not count towards it. However, if they suspect you of working unlawfully then they may give you a shorter duration or refuse you entry.
