28 days Cruise in Asia

Hi,
I'm taking a 28 days cruise to Asia. Days 15th and 16th are schedule to be in Shanghai coming from Sasebo Japan. Days 17th & 18th are sea travel to Tianjin (Beijing) where we'll be for 3 days. Next day will arrive to Dalian, China. We will depart from Dalian to Fukuoka (Hakata) Japan, and after few days in other ports in South Corea and Japan we will end the cruise in Shanghai on day 29th coming from Nagasaki Japan, and we'll take a plane the same day from Shanghai to USA. Can we use the 144hr. visa free the 4 times we'll touch land in China or we'll need a visa?

You will need a tourist (L) visa for this trip. The good news is if you have USA passport with at least 1 remaining year you can apply for the 10 year multiple entry visa before your trip. Its the same price as the single entry visa.
