UK passport - what is the longest visa that I can apply for from UK

I have an Irish passport and my husband has a British passport. We would like to visit China for as long as possible, even a couple of years. What is the longest length of visa that we can apply for and hopefully get?

You can try to apply for the one-year or two-year China visa with multiple entries.
