About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Previous Chinese Visa

Hi!

Does it make a difference if you have had a Chinese visa in recent history? For example i'm leaving China on the 15th of January (i'm here on a X2 visa, single entry) and will return on the 25th of January. I'm planning to apply for a 144 hour transit visa on the 25th since I leave on the 31st to go back home. It will be an ABC transfer with no lay over and within the 144 hour period.

Thanks in advance!

It does not make a difference. Visa free transit, including 144 hour visa free transit is in no way related to a possession of a visa. In other words, you are perfectly allowed to use this visa free transit scheme exactly as you have described.
