About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

We are flying into Shanghai to take a 14 day cruise on February 15

We are flying into Shanghai to take a 14 day cruise on February 15 beginning and ending on the 29th. It starts in Shanghai and ends in Shanghai. Our round trip flight is from Philadelphia.

You will need a tourist (L) visa for this trip. The 15 day visa free requires arrival in Shanghai by boat and leave China on same boat. 144 hour doesn't apply since it's more than one transit zone.

The return part doesn't need visa but considering the US Passport can get 10 year multiple entry visa for same price as single entry the visa will cover both entries and any future entries.
