Chinese new Year 25th Jan- UK Passport

Hi,

Please may i ask. I am departing from London and arriving to Hong Kong on 24th Jan. Will it be possible to get the Shenzhen 5-Day Visa on Arrival at Lo Wu port? for Chinese new year is the closed or opening time as usual?

Then that means i need to come back to Hong Kong no later than 29th Jan? I plan to stay a few days in HK and Macau and leave Hong Kong on 3rd Feb.

Many thanks,

Karen

Karen, you will be perfectly allowed to apply and obtain a Shenzhen VOA at Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing, although you will arrive there at vary specific part of the year. Just don't worry because all the services, including Shenzhen VOA office will work as usual. You are also right that you will be allowed to stay until 29th January until 23:59.

You can return back to Hong Kong by any available mean of transport, including a high speed train to West Kowloon railway station. By the way, the price of Shenzhen VOA for UK citizens is 304 CNY.
