UK Citizen with return ticket London to Bangkok. Can I get a 72 hour transit visa to visit Hangzhou?

While in Bangkok I would love to visit China and would get a return flight from Bangkok to HZ

If your return route is Bangkok-HZ-London, then you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.
