About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 stops in china

i am flying From holland to New Zealand and have 2 stops in china ( beijing and then to Guangzhou) on 1 day, do i need a visa and what kind of visa?
i am from the Netherlands

Rik, if your total transit time within China, counting from your first scheduled landing, in your case in Beijing, until your final scheduled departure, in your case from Guangzhou, is less than 24 hours, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa. Quite the contrary, if your travel time is longer just a minute than 24 hours, you will have to obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance.
