About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transfer in Beijing

Hello, I am EU citizen flying from Hong Kong to Prague (Czech republic). Do I need China Visa for my transfer in Beijing? Same terminal, but I will need to pick up my baggage and check it in again.

As long as your transfer is under 24h in Beijing, you don't need a visa (and Beijing must be your only stop in China).
If you have to pick up your baggage and check in again, they'll give you either a temporary permit to leave the airside or the airline staff will pick up your baggage.

You'll find transfer desks of the airlines before you reach the immigration, don't hesitate to contact them in any case of problems with the baggage.
