About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

My mom and sister from the Philippines will arrive at 9am in Pudong and fly to California at 9pm.

I wonder if they can go out from the airport and see a bit of Shanghai or meet us at the airport lounge? Do they need transit visa?

They need to apply for a stay permit if they want to leave the airport.
