Дмитрий, I assume that you will fly to Hainan directly from Russia without any additional stop within mainland China, right? This is very important detail because the passengers on direct flights to Hainan can enjoy Hainan 30 day visa free access.
As far as your intention to leave Hainan earlier than the rest of your group is concerned, this is perfectly allowed, but you should just inform a leading person of your group, so that she/he knows where you are because maybe they will be asked by Chinese immigration authorities of your whereabouts.
So, you should book your flight ticket from Sanya or Haikou to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to Russia and you should also print out those tickets and have those printouts with you. You will be allowed to travel from Sanya or Haikou because Russian citizens can stay in Hong Kong for 14 days visa free. You are also allowed to travel to Macau that also has visa free policy for Russian citizens.
You can take a flight from Hong Kong to Russia, but you are not limited to just direct flights. You can take a flight even via mainland China, if offered because Russian citizens can travel through China using 24 hours visa free transit (if there are more than one stop in China) or 144 hour visa free transit (if there is one stop in China). In other words, if your flight is, for example:
Hong Kong - Shanghai - Moscow
Then, you are allowed to stay in Shanghai area for 144 hours, absolutely visa free.
