Denise, I find your post a bit confusing.
OK, I understand that you will travel from Montréal to Shanghai, but I honestly don't understand why will you need 2 overnights to reach Shanghai? If you take a direct flight by Air Canada, you will arrive in Shanghai on March 9 and not 10. I ask you this detail because I'm afraid that you might have some additional landings within mainland China.
Also, I don't understand whether you will take a cruise from Shanghai or you will fly from Shanghai to Singapore and take 10 day cruise from there? I ask this because all the available schedules do not offer any departure of a cruise from Shanghai to Singapore at the date you have mentioned. I assume that you wanted to say that you will fly from Shanghai to Singapore and then take a cruise from Singapore. It will be probably "Malaysian Peninsula & Indonesia Cruise" provided by Princess Cruises.
One more detail, do you plan to travel back to Montréal via China or not?
Please, could you supply us with the above needed information, so that we can offer you a reliable and correct answer. Also, please, take care with the dates. They are very important in determining the eligibility for visa free transit. Hope, you will see this and answer so that we can assure you what you should do.
