Hello, thank you very much for your article, I found it very useful. Just one quick question: I am an Italian citizen living in Berlin, can I apply for the touristic visa in Berlin or should I have to come back to Italy to do that? If yes, do the required extra documents to prove that I live in Berlin like Anmeldung for example? Thank you very much!

You can make the application at the visa center in Berlin. The extra document to be submitted is the original and photocopy of your valid certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal stay provided by the relevant authorities of the country where the Visa Centre is located.
