2.5 hours lay over in Guanzhou do we need visa?

we are travelling from kuala lumpur back to PH but lay over to Guanzhou CAN for 2.5 hrs for we need to visa?

No, you definitely don't need a visa of any kind. Your itinerary is covered by 24 hour visa free transit. You will print out your flight tickets, have those printouts with you and also declare at check-in in Kuala Lumpur that you will travel to the Philippines via China using 144 hour visa free transit.

It should be written "using 24 hour visa free transit" and not 144 hour visa free transit, of course.
