About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

we like to fly from Macao to Xiamen(apply 144h), back to Hongkong, next day HKG Kunming(apply 144h)

after direct to Bangkok- will this work?

Yes, of course. Your itineraries:

Macau - Xiamen - Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Kunming - Bangkok

Are both perfectly eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in both Xiamen and Kunming.

thanks, I have forgotten to ask:Guangzhou South with Train to Zhuhai and crossing the Border to Macao
we had 144h VISA in Guangdong and would like to go to Macao- Possible to cross the Border there?
Stay a few days and fly to Xiamen-see above

Frank, but both Xiamen and Kunming are not within Guangdong province. Also, you cannot cross the border between mainland China and Macau on foot. You can only take a ferry from Shenzhen Shekou to Macau, but you have to book that ticket in advance and to print out the e-confirmation that you will receive after your booking.

Yes, it is also possible to take a plane from Jieyang Chaoshan (sometimes called Shantou) airport to Macau. This and the ferry are two only possibilities to travel to Macau when traveling on 144 hour visa free transit.
