About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hours twov for Myanmar passport holder

Travel from LA to Yangon with China Eastern airline. Lay over 13 hours at Nanjing airport and 3 hours at Kunming airport. I am carrying Myanmar passport and USA green card. Am I eligible for 24 hour TWOV?

Yes, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa.

You will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in Los Angeles that you will travel to Yangon via China using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection of your ticket, you will be allowed to board the plane. Please remember to ask whether your luggage will be tagged all the way to Yangon, so that you know this detail for certain.

Upon arrival in Nanjing, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit that you will need because of your next flight that is considered to be purely domestic.
