About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does return trip give me another 144 hrs visa?

From Canada to Shanghai ( stay for 144 hrs) then fly to Tokyo. Stay in Tokyo for one week.
Return trip from Tokyo to shanghai ( ????? can I stay another 144 hrs ????? ) then fly back to Canada.

You can use the 144h twov (it's not a visa) as much as you want.
