About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this trip eligible?

Australian passport travelling the following route:

Hong Kong > Guangzhou by train
Guangzhou > Colombo by plane
Colombo > Guangzhou by plane
Guangzhou > Hong Kong by car

I am eligible for the 144 hour visa?

You are not eligible and you must either get a visa or change your plans. 144 hours transit without visa (it is not a visa) in Guangzhou is only available if you arrive by air. Also you may not depart to Hong Kong by road. The easiest solution for you is to buy a Hong Kong-Guangzhou-Hong Kong flight ticket.
