About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling HKG to MAD via PVG

Hello, my itinerary is:
Inbound: SIN - HKG - PVG - MAD, staying 1 night in HKG, 1 night in PVG
Outbound: MAD - PVG - SIN, transit 6 hours
Please confirm HKG departure is good for transit visa in Shangai.

Unfortunately you didn't mention your nationality. If you have a Singapore passport you don't need a visa for up to 15 days in China. If your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries you don't need a visa because you will qualify for 24 or 144 hours transit without visa depending on the length of your stay. Otherwise, your transit in PVG will be limited to 24 hours without a visa.
