About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

separate bookings does that matter for 72 hour visa China

I have 1 itinerary for DPS>KL>CAN this is one booking arriving 13th December

And then a second itinerary CAN > SIN as a separate booking departing 15th December with different airline

Does it matter that they are not the one booking?
I think the regions are fine and timing is good but I just want to be sure I get it right.

Any help appreciated...thanks!!!

Your itinerary:

Kuala Lumpur - Guangzhou - Singapore

If there are no additional landings is perfectly eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province regardless of separate tickets and unrelated airlines. In reality, this detail with separate tickets has been always acceptable.

By the way, 72 hours visa free transit has been replaced in Guangdong province by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago. Also, this is not a visa, but visa free (without visa) transit.
