Is this a problem regarding the 144 hour visa free transit

Hello, I will go from Vienna to Brisbane via Shanghai, and I plan to stay in Shanghai 3 and 5 days during the outward and return flights respectively. However, as I received my reservation done by my company, I noticed that the flight from and to Shanghai stops in Guangzhou (the transfer time is 2h30 on both ways). Am I still eligible for a visa free transit in Shanghai?
