About:Visa on Arrival

We have a plan to visit Shenzhen from HK in the next two weeks(In Nov 2019)

Is it possible to get VOA from Luohu station or Huanggang port?
There's a rumor saying it is difficult to receive VOA in HK because of the protest.
We have already visited Shenzhen several times by VOA but not sure if it is still possible this time.

The issuing of Shenzhen VOA is proceeding as normal and there is not a single reason why would the Chinese immigration authorities make a trouble to any of Shenzhen VOA applicants. Actual unrest in Hong Kong has not, at least so far, caused any disruption in issuing of Shenzhen VOAs. In other words, you are perfectly welcome to apply and to obtain this particular visa.

Both Huanggang and Lo Wu / Luohu border crossings are fine, although I always give a slight advantage to Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing.
