where do i get a visa

going to a wedding, have invitation. I am a resident of florida (houston), i live in naples italy(rome) working for US government, currently in Norfolk Va.(DC) for two weeks. can i do this by mail, can it be done in one visit? none of my options are close

Keith, you cannot apply for China visa by mail. You need to apply at the Chinese consulate in Houston or the China Visa Service Center in Rome. If you request for rush service, it's possible to get the visa done on the same day.
