About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

What if I have a Chinese visa but my husband doesn’t?

We are both US citizens traveling from US to China to Taiwan. Do we have to go to different lines at customs? Or can I get a TWOV with him even though I have a visa?

Transit without Visa desk is an extra step before immigration line. You can line up together then once he has entry permit then both of you can go to immigration line together.
