exchange semester in Shanghai (september-february) - travel to phillipines visa

So I am here for an exchange semester from september until 10.02.2020 back home to germany (because i already have a flight ticket). Got an X2 visa with one (used) entry.

If i travel to phillipines mid january and come back on the 9.02.2020 for transit, leave airport in order to get my luggage and then fly back to germany at 10.02, (so Shanghai -> phillipines, Phillipines -> Shanghai TRANSIT Shanghai -> Frankfurt). Does that work?

Because I heard, it would be better to do that: shanghai->hongkong->phillipines, then Philipines->shanghai, Transit and then Shanghai->germany. Thus you don't come from the same airport you traveled to initially.

Since you entered china with a Visa you can leave through any country.

When you return through china it doesn't matter what country you enter from as long as its not the same one your next flight goes through.

One the way back to Germany
Shanghai > Philippines > Shanghai > Germany is allowed
Philippines > Shanghai > Philippines > Germany is not allowed
