About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a roundtrip ticket?

Hello,
I want to fly from AMS to PEK. And after a few days to Ulaanbaatar. After 2 weeks I'll return to PEK for a stay of 1 night and then fly back to AMS. I have a return ticket AMS-PEK and a return ticket PEK-ULN. Can I use the free transit visa?

First part you can use the 144h twov, return part is eligible for 24h or 144h twov (depends if your stay is fewer or more as 24h).

Thank you for your answer. So it doesn't matter that they travel with 2 separate tickets; 1 for AMS-PEK v.v. and 1 for PEK-ULN v.v.?

Doesn't matter. Majority of people travel on separate tickets anyway so it's nothing unusual.
