About:Entry Regulations of China

Entry with fever

Hi,
I was wondering what the normal procedure is when you enter while having a fever. Are they going to perform medical tests on you? And if they don't detect anything suspicious, will you be allowed to enter China?
Thanks,
Bas

If you from Netherlands, generally speaking, it won't have any problems. Don't worry. You are still allowed to enter China.

As you may have already figured, in China they screen passenger flows entering the country with cameras detecting increased body temperature. How accurate the cameras operate, is out of my experience or knowledge. It was just noticeable they have an automated health inspections before passport/boarder control entering the country.
