About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Applying for/acquiring a Z Visa (teaching English) in a Third Country (Malaysia)

Greetings! My name is Calvin Page. I am an American citizen who happened to be traveling currently in KL, Malaysia. Just yesterday I had a job interview for a school in Chenzhou and I accepted. Now I need to start the process of compiling/acquiring my documents for the Z Visa. Help me! What do I do first? I would prefer to arrive in China in 2 weeks time.

Thank you!

First, you need to get a work permit from the school. Then prepare your passport, application form, and passport style phtoto and submit all of them to the CVASC. As you are temporarily travelling in KL, I cannot guarantee that it will accept your application, but you can have a try.
