Unfortunately, Malaysian citizens are not eligible for 24 hour visa free transit at the time being. The reasons are unknown and this could change sooner or later, again without any announcement or even without an official confirmation. You are advised to obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa for your travel. Do yourself a favor, obtain a visa and travel with a peace of mind.
