About:Visa on Arrival

can I apply for VOA at Shenzhen bay ?

Hi, We have Irish (Ireland) passports and want to take the bus from HK to Shenzhen Bay, is it possible to get the VOA there ?

No, unfortunately, this is not possible because you plan to cross the border crossing without a visa facility.

If you intend to take a bus to Shenzhen, you should definitely take one crossing Huanggang border crossing. This border crossing has visa facility and you will be able to obtain it there for the price of 168 CNY. You should bring a Chinese cash that you can easily obtain at one of many Hong Kong money changers.
