About:Chinese Embassy in Cambodia

Visa requirement for 20hour layover

I am a Cambodian student and my flight will be from Seoul to Phnom Penh. I plan to have a long layover for around 20 hours at Kunming International Airport. My question is do I need to apply for Visa to be able to go out of the airport and sightseeing a bit?

Gustus, you don't need to apply for a visa because you can avail yourself of the 24h visa-free transit. Due to your long layover, it's very possible that you will be allowed to leave the airport, but this is not for sure.
