Vladivostok - Beijing - Moscow

Hello, I am traveling from Vladivostok to Beijing and then to Moscow and I planned to use the 144 hour transit free visa as I have both Spanish passport and a valid russian visa. Nonetheless, I am not sure if Vladivostok and Moscow are considered different regions or not.

Unfortunately, your itinerary is not eligible for any kind of visa free transit scheme because you are arriving in Beijing from Russian and also depart to Russia after Beijing. The basic rule of visa free transit is that the immediate points before and after your Chinese destination have to be in different countries. As you can see, in you case they are in the same country.

To conclude, you will need a Chinese visa obtained in advance or you will have to introduce a third country within your itinerary. Maybe some of Central Asian countries. Anyway, you should take care that Beijing remains your only stop within mainland China if you want to enjoy 144 hour TWOV.
