About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Do I need a China visa to transit from Shenzhen to Hong Kong (via public transport)?

I'm travelling to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in December, but plan to transit directly via public transport to Hong Kong. Do I need a China visa, or is there an exemption for direct onwards transit?

No if you will be staying in the province of Guangdong for more than 24 hours and have a confirmed ferry reservation made before arrival. Yes otherwise (including HSR and anything that cannot be reserved in advance).
