About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Okay, I am from the Netherlands and I am thinking of having a 44-hour transit in Shenzhen.

I leave from Brussel and I will travel from Shenzhen to Auckland. I heard of the visa-free transit policy in China, but I don't of the 72-hour visa-free transit is possible in Shenzhen. Does anyone know if this is possible in Shenzhen? because the airline and the Chinese embassy aren't giving me any answers.

If your itinerary is:

Brussels - Shenzhen - Auckland

And you don't have any additional stop of any kind within this itinerary, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shenzhen or even better to say in the entire Guangdong province. You can really take it for granted.

You will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in Brussels that you will travel to Auckland via Shenzhen using 144 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon your landing in Shenzhen, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit counter where you will fill out the blue form and shortly after, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport. Again, you are allowed to explore the entire Guangdong province during your stay in the area and after that, you will just continue your journey to Auckland. Absolutely visa free :)

By the way, don't bother calling the airlines or the embassy because they will never offer you an answer. They simply don't know or better to say they don't want to bear any responsibility.
