About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flights on different reservations

My flight itinerary is: LAX-PVG on June 14 on United and PVG-HKG on June 18 with Cathay Pacific. I will book the flights separately with the respective airline. Will I be able to avail of the 144 hour TWOV even if the flights are not in the same reservation?

Separate tickets are always fine. This question is asked almost every day, and the website owners should add the information to the page.
