72 hour visa requirement

Hello,
Would I qualify under following schedule - LAX/Narita - one day in Tokyo - Shanghai - 3 days in Shanghai and the LAX??? Please let me know, Best

Yes, your itinerary:

Los Angeles - Tokyo - Shanghai - Los Angeles

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area. By the way, 72 hour visa free transit has been replaced in Shanghai by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of year ago.

Also, this is not a visa, but 144 hour visa free transit. There is no visa at all.
