About:Xian City Wall

Directions from City Wall to Bell and Drum Tower

How do I get to Bell and Drum Tower from the City Wall? and via which gate? I read online that it's about 1.5km apart, however I'm assuming my legs are going to give up on me after cycling for 2.5h!

You can come out of Yongningmen (south gate) and walk south around 400m to Yongningmen subway station, then take metro line 2 to Bell Tower station.

You can see the Bell Tower from the inside of the South Gate. It's quite a pleasant walk. Even if you've already cycled around the wall, it should be do-able.
